We had about 8 or 9" of heavy wet snow yesterday and last night. This morning I took the 1850 and rear blade down and plowed out church drive.

I decided that I had to try out the front mount blade on 1850 #2, so I got it out and played with it. SWEET!!!!!! It will move a lot of snow fast!

Handles well and you can see what you are doing without having to turn your head to see. It would be nice to have the rear blade on with the front blade so you can back up to the garage doors and pull snow away and then turn around and push it with the front blade.

I was concerned about how short it would turn with the blade frame so close to the wheels, but you can turn them all the way no problem. I think I am going to like this set up, now I'll have to get a cab for #2 so I can use it in the winter.

Hi Chris! I really like your tractors ! We have a 1650 gas,a 1750 with 1955 turbo set up and a 1755. Only one with a cab is the 1755. And at this time use none for snow ! I've been meaning to get the 1650 here from the farm to put the blower on, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I do have a question. Both 1850's are Perkins diesels from what I see. Why is the exhaust and air cleaner located in different places on each tractor ? Just curious!

It took a while to find a good picture.

This 1850 has a 354 turbo out of a MF 750 combine in it. The turbo hangs on the side instead of sets on top, so I had to farmerize the intake and exhaust system. It has a tendency to limit what you can hang on the side of the tractor. It's been in there for over 10 years with no issues yet. It is nice to look down the hood and not look at muffler and precleaner. Chris
