AC d17 external hydraulic lift cylinder how to take apart , please

Hard to say with out being able to see it. You could have most nay brand of cylinder and to take one apart can be done in many different ways depending on how I is made

single cylinder welded on one side ,one oil line. Problem is after take packing gland ,there is a metal plate right inside cylinder,don't know how to take apart?

On some you have to take a pic inside the hydraulic port and pop a retaining ring off.

On a Gleaner combine, you go thru the hyd
fitting and using a screwdriver pry a snap
ring into a deeper groove. Easy in a vice
and using two hands.

The AC kit will have a new snap ring and the seal.
