Can the injector pump be adjusted to give this tractor maybe 20-30 more hp safely or are they normally close to the safe limit as is and trying to turn out more is just looking for trouble? We have a 14? Kongskilde 2800 5 bar field cultivator I?d like to pull with it if possible. As it is now it will barely pull them along in good going.

NOT without a turbo, and the injection pump may have small plungers limiting how much increase it has anyway. Need to know the pump number to see what hydraulic head it has. Probably five HP increase max without a turbo, if that. More fuel will just make more smoke and heat only.
We?ve had this one close to 25 years and have been very lucky. Our neighbors had several of the series before ,2775 and 2745 and they were complete lemon?s in the powertrain department. Either they solved the issues with the 3000 series and by then their reputation was already damaged or we just got lucky.

Pulled 6-18 on land moldboard and 12 shank 3 pt hitch brillion chisel plow with a 3545 no issues. Tractor has 12,000 plus hours.

That's the 2000 series that had LOTS of three speed shift trouble. The 3000 series are trouble free.
The 2XXX problems were more in materials and execution than design. Co-worker who had been a tech with/for Massey at the time says that by the time 2XXX series was done production they'd pretty much got everything figured out. Sounds like they needed 2-3 more years of testing before releasing them. There are some videos out there where the guy goes through all the updates.
