Things I hate.

things I hate. I some times save enough money up to bring some thing in to a shop to get it fixed. I know the price tag after it is fixed is going to be high. Between parts and labor coast but I hope it is done right. The tractor shop is 220 miles away so you make appointment to take it in. Leaving it there for three months. They work on it and give you the parts they bought for it and the labor coast of a bill. You get it home and it still leaks in all different places. To me nothing gets fixed in a tractor shop. Parts are cheap but the labor is very high. What I hate the most is when you call them and ask I need this oil they tell you that they do not know what the oil CAS number you are referring to and this is a CASE place. You say I need 23 gallons of this oil for this skid steer loader. They then say you are not to be using it for what you used it for. Are warrantee does not cover you using it all day moving dirt. Really that is what it was made to at least I thought so. I hate when the Warrantee does not apply to the work you had got done.

When I was young had a couple cars I took to a repair shop. When I got them out either problem wasn't fixed, there was grease on the seats, or there was a new problem that developed. I decided if I was gonna have to fix stuff after it was repaired in a shop, I might as well not pay them to work on it. Unfortunately with new stuff and all the computers etc, you have to take cars to repair shop for some things.

I just can?t afford to pay anyone to work on anything like that because the results are the same as what you got .

As I always tell my wife when she suggests I pay someone to fix something, if I want it done wrong I can do it myself and save the money. ;)

Guess I'm fortunate I put an ad on CL for someone to repair a tractor I had that needed work, met up with a real nice young mechanic that works at a dealership and part time in his dad's garage. He repaired that tractor and several more have one there now.He does a good job but the deal is he works on it when he has time which is fine for me I have plenty of tractors to use.Have a couple now I bought to take to him when he finishes with the one he has now.

I agree with you on that but there is only one problem I have a number for that oil. Nothing tells me what it is (Hytrans.Bul) number CAS 73341726B do you have any Ideal what it is? Only Case dealership would know.

your so very true. i got 5 farmall tractors from 48 to 63 aint nutten i wont fix however on my 06 chevy it goes to the shop and then it still doesent get fixed. i tell them up front if it aint fixed the first time no payment
