Propane quick connect

For 30+ years I hauled/filled everything LP. Most good quality ones work well. Get them at a LP supplier or from a camper dealer. They know the good ones from the bad.

I put them on outside of house for grill hookup, love them.

No more buying little propane tanks.

We have commercial quick connects at work. They are for 3/4 inch hoses. NOT cheep! A 4 foot hose with connectors can list for over $120.oo. Go to an RV place for the civilian versions but they still will take some money. If you keep them nice and sparkling clean they work great. They are only ment for a few pounds of air pressure. They should also have an auto shut-off feature. If you look down through the male part there will be a little metal bar soildered across the hole or a collar ring near the end. If you don't hook the lines correctly and you get a fire, the soilder melts and shuts the gas off. You REALLY must have this feature. You can also get a 90? swivel that makes life much easier. Just a caution, the hose should be braided and have a vinyl dip jacket. Like I said it will not be cheep but will be very safe. Checked the net real quick. Type in commercial gas hose. This is a 1/2 hose with everything you need and was just under one hundred bucks. Very good price. If you need any help hooking this up get back to me. They go in a specific order!

P.S.....the name you want is Doormont. They make the best. All of the connectors are proprietary. They only go with what you bought. Just like hydraulic hoses.
