My Second Tractor Pull

My second vintage tractor pull was in the summer of 1992 when the locals put on a show here. I was tempted to take the Cockshutt 40 but decided against it. A pretty good selection showed up including that big Oliver 990 with the unique sounding GM diesel that you saw in the first video. There were even a few trucks tried their luck on the sled. But thats another video.

Nice, thanks for posting. That was a 995 Oliver.....don't see many of those around. I drove one of those one summer right off the show room floor. It was on a auger cart, so I never got to do any tillage with it. Always wanted a MM GBD.....local farmer had 2 that he farmed with for many yrs.
