A big thanks to Scott Macintosh. My wife is very happy with the Surge milker I cleaned up for her. The story is, her grandfather was a dairy Farmer his entire life when he passed away and his place was sold she took one of the milkers and brought it home. A couple years have went by and she had pretty much forgotten about it. I posted on here this fall about the milker and what was needed to make it complete for display. I had a nice conversation with Scott and he sent me a pulsator to complete the set up. I believe jd seller posted information that led me to hamby dairy supply to get the rubber parts. Thanks guys

Bruce can send you the cow and I think I still have the fittings that allow you to use a gas tractor for the vacuum supply. I am sure someone can figure out the pulsator for you. So now you can have FRESH milk everyday!!! Would be a great retirement "job". LOL

As an HVAC guy I can figure out a vacuum pump set up. As I'm 39 it's going to be a while until I retire. My wife did say she liked the picture of Bruce's newborn calf in the post below.

There should be a small looped handle on the lid to get it off easier when you empty the bucket.

If we would have had to use one of those things we would still have been milking by hand 30 years later, Hang on strap over cows back, STUPID. And dangerous as most cows would not have allowed you to put it on them. Our first milker was a Sears outfit and later units were Wards and bucket sat on floor.

Seems like I was about 7 or 8 when I first started going to the milk house after school and putting a pair of those together so they were ready when Dad got cows in to start milking. Over 60 years ago. Not a bad way to teach work ethic and responsibility. Hadn't seen one for a long time. Thanks for posting the picture.
