Watched it last night, one of my favourite parts is where Potter makes a motion to dissolve the building and loans makes some unflattering comments about Peter and George gives it to him in front of the rest of the directors! The end is very touching though too

OF course Potter is the villain of the movie, but the other villain is Potters assistant who clearly sees Uncle Billy's deposit for the Bldg and Loan and says nothing. Even after George comes begging for a loan, even after George takes responsibility for the 8000 dollar shortage, he says nothing. We all expect Potter to be the scurvy little spider, but that guy is even worse. Movie portrays a lot of people types, I take a little more from it each time I watch. gobble

The last few years we have watched that one and The Bishop's Wife every year at Christmas time. Both have a very good message, and well delivered.

First time ever watched it was a couple months ago. It's now one of my favorites. Watched it last night on NBC I think it was. Gets better every time.

My favorite Christmas movie. Always chokes me up.

For years I would catch it 10-15 minutes in, the early years part are ?new? to me when I manage to see it from the opening now.

A Christmas Story is good too.

Been watching it all my life every chance I get. It's my favorite. My best friend bought me the DVD a few years ago. Have never watched it and not had my eyes leak.

Next on the list is Miracle on 34th Street. It makes my eyes water as well. Still believe in Santa Claus.

It's a Wonderful Life and Ralphie you'll shoot your eye out are required viewing Christmas day when family is over.

Does anyone remember where Ralphie says the waiting line to see Santa stretches back to?
