Short video of it's maiden voyage. Great Christmas gift! Gotta figure out the shift pattern! Also gotta clean out fuel tank, it runs out of syrup too fast!

Looks like your temperature sending unit, usually screws into a 1/4" or 3/8" port in the head or sometimes the block...

G L The shifting is real cool. just look at the tag but there is actually TWO neutrals depending on which one you are in will depend what gear you end up in. Takes a little getting use to but works nice once you figure it out.

One of these days we are going to drive down that way and see you folks. You got some neat tractors.

Stepped on the pedal to the far right and something spun around. I'm guessing its the hydraulics for cultivators? Also PTO spins all the time. Lever has a push button on top, it releases but lever doesn't move. Tips?

Grandpa Love, PTO lever pulled back is off. They are pretty simple might need shims added. The previous owner of one of my tractors pulled all the shims and PTO turned all the time. Once you have a manual it will show you how to adjust it.

You shifting pattern would be the one at the bottom or left of the page. I have 6 77's and three 66's all with that pattern. When they set for a long time some get hard to shift up and down. I never grip the knob shifting up or down. Pop it straight up or down. Dad bought his first 77 in 1950 and that was the instructions from the dealer. The shifter is self centering and when shifting up a sharp bump with the palm of your hand puts it up where you then go left or right then up or down. The dealer said when you grip the shifter going up or down you tend to push the shifter off its center.

Neighbor bought a 77 and ask me how to get it to shift. When I got on it was really stiffing from high to low range and I had bump real hard and it took several tries to bump it hard enough to shift. After several times it was where he could shift it. I assumed it had not been shifted for years.
