Love the top picture.
The N Ford in the snow reminds me of a snowy Christmas morning with dad driving the tractor pulling the sled with me throwing off hay to the heifers. We didn't get many white Christmas's in western Washington. I was probably 6 or 7 at the time.
I remember throwing off the flatbed one time, and I asked dad how often to throw off a sheaf. He said "Just use your own judgment." "What's that mean?" "Well, you can see how far we are from the barn. Try to space them so you run out of hay just as we get to the barn." Lots of ways to learn real-life skills on a farm.

I sure agree with that. Our annual gathering includes 70 people this year, tomorrow at my sister?s ranch near weatherford Tx. My 95 yr old mother will be there, 6 children, 18 grandchildren, lost count of great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and all the in-laws and outlaws.
I love the old 8N pic above. My father had 5 like it plus one jubilee in his road mowing fleet in 1954.
