IFF made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Now for the fun. I think I will need a centerplate for hydraulics if anyone has a spare?

ollie, Nick Fasseler he sometimes is on here as Centerplate has all the parts you need. Cool old Oliver! I saw your post on FB as well.

Like the looks of that mud. We had a super rainy summer and fall here. Can wait for some freeze thaw
action to liquify the ground, real nice like. Soil soup.

I have stump pile I have been pulling apart. Burning some of them and moving some down in the brush. Had hoped to get it planted this fall but looks like maybe spring now. We had a dry year. We are still short on rainfall for the year. Doesn't take much and it turns to mud especially when I drive on it.

Nice tractor, I have it's twin here in MI.
Looks exactly like yours, diesel and all. A
very good running tractor, and it runs
right along down the road. No hydraulics,
just the cast iron power lift cover.

I have thought about getting a plate and taking off the hydraulics. I have a gas 88 standard like that. Someone put a pump on the front though.
I'm not sure but I may need a center support for the pto if I take it off.

I remember when those standards would show up at the sale in Archbold now and then. You could buy them for a song. I never could find a use for one back then though. Still can't for that matter, but that doesn't mean I don't wish I'd bought up a bunch of them.

I dont need any of mine and out here in the west you can't hardly give them away but I keep on buying them. Dont know what will happen to them when I'm gone.

I dont know if I'm a redneck or a cheap b%star. Old fella that was pretty intelligent told me poor people have poor ways. I picked the sleeper up for 200. Its nice to have cuz theres not much room in a single cab.

Two different thickness gear sets, so two different thickness center plates. To paraphrase measure twice, buy once.

Yep. I need to do some research. I dont really need hydraulics so I need to decide if it's worth fixing.

I've known several rich people that got rich by having poor ways.Nothing wrong with poor ways I took a $50 cab and turned it into a nice canopy on my AC 185.Nice tractor too BTW,
love those old Oliver Standards.

Thank you. Maybe I should've said wise intelligent man. That he was! And helped his neighbors when ever needed. Not many like him around here anymore.
