Bred cow in heat?

I have a cow that calved in the end of February. I weaned the heifer calf about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now the bull is messing with her and she was messing with him back. I assumed she was bred back but now I am doubting it. Could she still be bred and just some hormones mixed up from weaning?

Possible she was bred, slipped her calf and is coming around again now.

Not that uncommon for a cow to try mounting another open or not.

Watch what the bull is doing his nose knows.

Sounds like a cystic ovary. You might need a vet to check her if she shows heat
signs but has no blood.

Her "area" is not red or swollen. There is no mucus and she is not holding her tail out. I will keep a close eye on her. Guess she might be calving 6 months later than normal.

Although on a dairy forum they talked about bred cows standing for the bull. They would calve from the first breeding, guess the just wanted some attention.
