Today at our local Pilot truck stop gas was $1.99.....Meanwhile, diesel was $3.19 cash and $3.25 credit...Thats one of the widest gaps in prices that I have ever seen...This is 100 miles south of KC,MO..

The good news is gas, and diesel are within 10 cents in the Pacific northwest- the bad news is, gas is $3.36 and diesel is $3.45.

1206SWMO,does that put you in the Collins area? If I'm thinking correctly there is a Pilot there. Or over in the Nevada area? At the Caseys in Nixa premium is 2.54 and diesel is 2.84. I see your posts about the auctions from time to time. Always makes me wish I had a pocket full of money, but then it would just be empty again real quick, but I sure would have a lot more treasures.

Flying J Tye Tx unlead 2.159, Diesel, cash 3.099 credit 3.159. I figured that big station south of Collins Mo was a Caseys. I bought a place about halfway between Eldorado Springs and Osceola. Havent got a lot of checking out everything around there. Still in Tx trying get things put together to move.

Correct. This is what drives the inflated diesel prices along the highway. The fleet fueling cards price is not related to the pump price. This way the truck stops get extra $$ from unsuspecting travelers and the trucking companies think they are saving big $$$.

Gasoline here is .97 per litre while road diesel sells for 1.25 per litre....mid western Ontario

The difference between gas and diesel is gas is a non commercial fuel while diesel is. I was audited by IRS one time and spent $74,000 fuel for that year. He called me a liar untill he went through my reciepts. I told him even if diesel was $10 a gallon i would have to pay it, because if the truck don't move you don't make money. If gas was that high you could carpool or something else to save fuel.

Western Ohio today Walmart gas was board price $2.01 and with their card $1.98 per gallon. Don't have any diesel so don't pay that much attencion but seeing it posted it is above $3 per gallon.

Flying J/Pilot and Loves evidently has a great discount for truckers because their prices are 50 cents a gallon higher for diesel than the locals around here....they are looking for suckers. I try to stay away from them....

Gas prices in Terre Haute are around $2.25. Diesel is about a buck more. That said this evening one Marathon station jacked price to $2.59. Time to gas up turck and my 5 gallon cans at old price.

I have enough fuel points at Kroger's to get a buck off a gallon up to 35 gallons. So if Kroger's hasn't raised price tomorrow morning, I'll get it at $1.25.

Regulator is 3.58 in my town. I guess since we live in California the gas company's thinks we're rich. I got news for them. Stan

(quoted from post at 21:26:56 11/29/18) Here in NY at pilot gas is $2.63 on road diesel is $3.45

I don't know where in NY that is. I paid $2.91 yesterday for the cheapest gas I could find.

lowest i've seen here is $2.19 which is good. not complaining.

we're usually the highest here in Northern Indiana thanks to AlGore's gas additives since we're too close to chicago pollution zone.

Up here yesterday in central Alberta, Canada I see the price of regular gasoline was 96 CDN cents per litre. At today's exchange rate that would be 96 x 0.75 += $0.72 US per litre. Multiply that by 3.78 (litres in a US gallon) and you get about $2.72 USD per US gallon. I think I did all the conversions correctly.
