Gehl HL4400 hydraulic oil

Time for a change of hyd oil in this old thing.
Manual calls for Type F, and that appears to be what's in it...it's red anyhow. Never added any in the 5 years I've had it.
Wondering about using something else but also wondering what this may do to hydrostat pump & motors.
Any reccomendations?

I have a HL3030 and it calls for 10-30 motor oil so that is what I use.
Type F ATF is not hard to purchase. Lots of suppliers still sell it.
I would stick with type F if it was my machine.
