Kubota B2150 3 Point lift surges

Any ideas as to why my 3 point hitch surges or hunts for its correct position when it has any load at all on the hitch? Something with control rod or maybe something broken in valve feeding the hydraulics for the hitch? Anyone have repair instructions from service manual? . It is the manual transmission mode not the hydrostat tractor if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for any help.

When you say your lift "surges or hunts" for position, does your lift drift down and correct back up on a frequent basis (Hiccups)? If this is your case, to me this would indicate internal leakage in your lift system.

As noted usually lift cylinder leakage, easy to spot as the heavier the implement the faster the drop part of the cycle. Can't recall if the B2150 had optional draft control but if its not properly in position control or the sensing link isn't hooked up right it can make random lifting and dropping.
