Gray November Day

Another one! Boy, we have had hardly any sun the whole month of November it seems. Just cloudy days of high humidity and cold South-east winds. I had to enhance this photo a little to get some colour into it as it almost looked black and white straight off the camera. Some new fence going up on the hundred acre woods.

This whole year has been one long cloud. Even the few sunny days were a hazy deal. I can?t recall a sun up to sun down blue sky day? At all? Musta been at oats harvest, we had a short dry period then?

I really miss the sun.

We are dropping into our third single digit to below zero F night in the past 3 weeks; typically that at least is a weather high and gives us clear sky. But nope, not this year. Still hazy clouds most of the daylight, clears out after sundown. As it cooled down today with 15-20mph nw winds, we got snow showers. Ugh.

You fellows can have living in suburbs of the North Pole, looks like a miserable place to live.Meanwhile I had to take my jacket off this afternoon while splitting wood the Sun was getting
pretty warm.(LOL)

We had a sunny day last week, of course it started out -3F and didn't warm
up much.

It's been so gloomy here, the guys who own solar panels are loosing money! 6 inches
of heavy wet snow yesterday, bad for soys still out. Midwestern Ontario

It's only rained twice the past year here in PA. 7 months the first time and 5 months the second time.

Just a reminder of what a typical sunny November day in Saskatchewan should look like. This was almost exactly a year ago. Sunshine and blue
sky. Just a little snow. And shadows. Plus you can actually tell where the ground stops and the sky begins.

I envy you that square body pickup. They've always been my favorite.

When I had a body shop. I specialized in rust repair on them.

Probably wandering tracks of the cattle in the snow out to the north? When I look at your droone camera pictures, I think I can go to a + or - sign down in the corner and zoom in or out, but can't. Nice photo by the way.

We have had the entire month with grey overcast, light rain, heavy rain (last 48 hrs. + wind). This morning some real sun, now raining again. Fairly normal.

(quoted from post at 13:33:32 11/27/18) How high is that fence? Are you fencing something in or fencing something out?
I am parked on the outside of the new fence. I forgot to measure but figure its at least six feet high. Its a whole new direction for the hundred acre woods.
Ron, the tracks in the drone photo are cattle tracks where they like to wander out in the snow.
Goose: I've had the old square body 81 GMC just about exactly 32 years now. It just keeps going. Most of them have rusted out by now around here but mine is hanging in there because I try not to take it out on salty highways.
