A lot of snow

It looks like they got 16" of snow in southern Iowa west of mount pleasant.

We are 70 miles north and 30 east, nothing here.

Its pouring here and even heard a little rumble of thunder and 59 degrees! That is all you g to change tonight and a high in the low 30s tomorrow.

I've been wondering if you guys had any snow, didn't start here until three o clock and didn't amount to much. Started again at six and really coming down now, was kinda hopin it was done.

David I am more than happy to not have any snow here. Snow blower and tire chains can easily be taken off tomorrow.

West of Lincoln, NE, we got about an inch, with wind this morning.

That was about what I figured on, since one local weather guesser said 4-8 inches. I don't know how that guy can get away with exaggerating like he does. Plus, he can take 15 minutes to say it might rain and then again it might not.

Although to be fair, part of I-80 was closed between Lincoln and Omaha this morning because of semi wrecks.

Last winter I was killing time on you tube and ran across semi wrecks on I80 in the snow and ice, looked pretty gruesome, some big multi vehicle pile ups.

My sis and husband from the quad cities are in Florida in the Orlando area for a few weeks. I don't know how much the quad cities got for snow will have to check it out. She just texted me a picture of them in a golf cart wearing shorts. Oooh an I jealous!

I know where you are at, been by there many times on way to Omaha, my daughter is pretty serious with a boy from Winterset.

Yea, here by Oskaloosa we had 16 inches. Cows were enjoying the stalk fields yesterday. Today they were very glad to see me show up with the silage wagon. I was glad I had the 7810 MFWD with duals to blast through the drifts. Tomorrow I'll move them home for the winter.
