The latest addition to the fleet. 1960 JD 630. Looks and runs fine, just needs a few small things...lights gauges some cosmetic. I was actually looking for a Case but what collection is complete without a 2 banger? There will be questions to follow, I'm sure.

A 730 diesel wide front is my dream tractor but I sure would like to have that 630! Plan on putting it to work or just a toy?

Yes, it?s a square tube wide front, they sell for about $1,000-$1,500. It also has the desirable flat top fenders and a John Deere 3pt hitch too. It?s
got all the goodies! Nice tractor!

Not a Deere guy. I always thought the 30series was one of the best looking tractors Deere made with the yellow to break up the green. Like the 50 series IH the white did the same thing as the yellow does.
The guy that designed a push hand clutch should have been hung. A hand clutch needs to pull back so you can see to hitch up and push to disengage. The are a much smoother operating clutch also.
