Ask your local fastener distributor to order you some silicon bronze 3/8-16 X 1 1/2?. Sil Bronze 94% Copper.

Here is a site I use all of the time to buy bolts. Bolt Depot.

Here are Silicon Bronze bolts. I believe these would be what you need. As pure brass bolts would not have much strength. 3/8 x 1 1/2 are $2.17 each.

I found some silicone bronze for 2.17 on this website, they would probably be better than steel. If you use gr 5 steel put some anti-seize on them. We used to use some beryllium bolts in one place where there was a concern about them galling, I think that's a copper alloy.

There are lot's of copper alloy bolts available, just google them.

With all that advice given, I would torque them to 27/32 ftlbs ,and in a W pattern. Warm the motor up,let her cool off and retorque. CM

Do you know any electricians that do commercial work?

Many buss bar connectors and ground lugs had 3/8 copper bolts.
