Ford 3600 Vertical Exhaust

Hello,

My Ford 3600 Vertical exhaust has become damaged and I need a replacement.

However, I can't find any for sale online in the UK. They are all coming out as the horizontal rear exhaust kit.

Can anyone suggest where I can find one that will for the Ford 3600?

Many thanks!

Just the muffler? Or more? Muff is sold online here on YT as well as the pipe.

On your being in the UK and the rear exhaust: I recently purchased a 3810 with the rear exhaust and best I can tell it was built in the UK. I know some 3910s have it vertical, and maybe made in Belgium or the US. Is there a reason for the rear exhaust in the UK?

Check with your local spares dealer and see if they handle Sparex. A UK based after market tractor parts supplier who has everything from the cylinder head up. Sparex is wholsale only, so you have to go through an authorized dealer, but if they're Ford/New Holland they may even have it on the shelf. Since the 3 cylinder machines use the same exhaust gas or diesel I used to keep a couple sets on the shelf at all times.

While we are on the subject, can the same exhaust manifold be used for vertical and horizontal mounting?

I'm still toying with the idea as to whether or not I want to leave mine out the rear or put it up like my 3000. Sucker is mighty noisy as it is and I don't think that Ford's increasing the bore by 0.2" to 192 cu. in. is the whole reason. Even at idle I can stand 5' behind the machine and still feel exhaust pressure so no doubt, it's moving a lot of air.

Was wanting to help a neighbor dig some post holes and got to thinking that exhaust out the back is right in your helper's face in that chore. Course it's not in your face when driving forward, nor up in the air to catch low hanging tree limbs and such. Boy do I have serious problems with which to deal. Grin

Sorry all, think there's some confusion.

The 3600 already has the vertical exhaust,
mine has snapped. I just need the vertical
muffler. The bit that literally pops into
the hole on the left hand panel of the
engine cover.

If the pipe under the hood is ok and all you need is the muffler you have a couple of choices.
C7NN5230JM is the economy muffler made by Stanley, available on this site and various farm supply stores, not sure what stores you have available in the UK
E4NN5230FA17M is the standard replacement muffler for US models
D6NN5230G is the number for the euro model.
