OT - A little humor

I see that too often, places like Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Also see something at a very low price then an outrageous shipping cost. There is one company that advertises heavily on Ebay, they have large minimum orders, mostly electronics. But the ads are also broken down to show they will sell a small quantity, but make it up in ridiculous shipping charges.

I think some of the high priced items are misprints, someone got the decimal in the wrong place, maybe unfamiliar with the currency.

But sadly some are intentional efforts to defraud someone that doesn't understand the currency, doesn't read the shipping cost, or has no idea what the value of the item is.

Just throw the ad out there, see if anyone bites.

"That's not where you ordered Kim's new computer screen is it?"

No, but it might be funny to pretend I did! :)

Just the other day I was looking at an
online toy auction. Everything looked like
it was going cheap until I noticed the
small print. They had 15% buyers premium,
another percentage for using a credit card,
sales tax and $10 per item packing charges
just to put something in a box. They also
charged shipping which they wouldn't give
any estimate on until after the sale. By
the time I added up the fees it would add
25.5% to anything bought on top of an
unknown cost for shipping and $10 per item.
I don't think so.
