Bought my grandfather's old Cobey wagon back the other day. It needs some work done to the frame the previous owner over loaded it with logs and broke the back of the frame but I think it's fixable. Was also able to buy the cultipacker from him it's a brillion 4in axle. I was hoping to find one with a transport but thatl do.

Where are you located as that wagon I believe is a Gramm that was a reginal line built in Wapakoneta Ohio in same building they were building semi trailers in. Cannot see them being sold far away. Amd Wapakoneta was my home town.

I?m right outside Galion. I know the cobey wagons were made in Galion. But it very well could be another make that?s just what I was always told it was

Dad bought a new Cobey wagon about 1954. My brother still has it, good old wagon. We were in Shelby, OH at that time, 12 miles from Galion.

That is a fifth wheel or king pin guide and that is all Gramm made, some with a coupling pole to use any bed, others made with a steel flat bed that served os connection between front and rear axles and the front axle could be completely turned around as yours apperes in the picture. I have never heard of a Colby made on that design, all I have ever heard of were automobile type guide. I did have 2 of them one with 5 lug wheels, other woth 6 lug wheels. Galion is not that far from Wapakoneta so would be in dealer distance, not like being on the west coast. Could you post a close up pick of the hitch?
