Got down to 10 degrees last night!!!

Well it got a little colder than they thought it would. Around 10 degrees. All the waterers are working like they should. YEAAAAA . LOL Maybe I should go buy a Lotto ticket tonight and see if my luck holds.

You weather in the Midwest is so very extreme, compared to ours. While we visited Iowa last August, Genny and I were very surprised at how hot it was, even at 10:00 pm. And now how very cold you folks have it today. Guess these big lakes do moderate our temperatures quite a bit. Barley at freezing point now. With full sunshine for a change.

Boy, I'm glad that I don't have to tend to farm animals. It is nice to enjoy my summer toils cutting fire wood and just go out in the shop and stoke the boiler a couple times a day.
I am headed that way now, and will start the 930 and finish plowing the field that I was plowing in yesterday. Current temp is 31F and dropping.

We had an overnight low of 14 here in south-central Kansas which is close to our record low temperature for this date. On Wednesday we were still sowing wheat, got 3 inches of wet snow on Thursday, and now this cold snap. Lots of beans and milo still in the fields and seed wheat still on the truck instead of in the ground around here due to the unusually wet weather we've had the past month.

We?ve had ten degrees every day for week . I don?t know how the ground isn?t froze . I know I feel like a popsicle and I?ve still got a lot of work to do . Snow on the front axle.

I finished the field that I started yesterday. Nice and toasty in the cab of my 1969 Case 931.
Sorry you have to weather the elements on an open station tractor. I did the same in my younger years:: but not now.

Man that?s a nice looking rig ya got there . Last I checked I could buy a cab for 500$ I bet right now if I was in the right place I could get one for free all the kids buying these new gen tractors hate the cabs .

A little below normal in Sask. too. We were down close to -10F on Friday morning. Warmed up to about +20 today and snowing a little.
