help with bd154

The original subject was "Re: help with bd154 fuel injector pump adjustment".

I am new to this but recently got an International 384 with the bd154 engine. It had been on fire and I need some fuel lines. I have been unable to find the one I?m looking for. It goes from top of fuel tank and tees to the top of fuel filter housing and also down to the injectors. Any help would be appreciated.

I junked one of those, actually a 434. Still have the pump and filter assembly, might have that line, I will look today if I can.

Sorry, I found the filter assembly and pump with 2 short injector lines, but that's all, I am not well organized.

Isn't that just black nylon fuel line that's pushed over metal barb fittings at the ends?

If so, check into the sizes of such line sold as automotive fuel line, to see if any size fits.

If you can find the right size, the trick is to heat the ends in boiling water, then quickly jam it over the fitting and allow to cool.

May takes some practice an a few pieces of line wasted to get it right.

Also, check with a diesel injection shop, they may have a better idea, and will likely have rubber fuel return line and the appropriate clamps that will fit on the barbs you have.
