Is Burch MFG in Fort Dodge still open? Ordered a heat houser from them about 2 months ago. The lady said "about 2 weeks". But it hasn't been coming, and I've been calling and only get an answering machine. Sent an email and no response.

I don't live in Fort Dodge but I live in Iowa and I can't find anything indicating that they aren't still in business.

I am about 60 miles east and bought one from them last year. It took a little while to get it but when it was ready, Karla met me there on a Saturday and was very nice and helpful on things. Enjoyed chatting with her and they have a very nice cat that "guards" the place. It is now a universal model even though back in the day, they used to make them for IH to fit specific tractors. Perhaps others, but I think they made the white canvas ones for IH. You probably ordered from them since they still offer a canvas heathouser, not one of the plastic ones. Good quality unit. Am happy with it... of course wish I didn't have to have one!!!
