I found an aCTIVE GAS STATAION like that, but I forget just where, but the man was doing a bumper business, gas and repairs, customers lined up along the street to get in. Was a medium size town here in Missouri. If I remember where, I'll post it.

I'd love to have that truck! And that gas station is just like one in Braden Tennessee on HWY 70 I mean identical. My grandparents friend Mr. Conrad Driver ran it way back in the day. It's been abandoned for years. I wonder how old they are and if there was a certain brand of gasoline that they sold to be built just alike but in different states?

Danny you are right on the Bradden. I cut thru there over to I 40 ever now and then and when I saw the picture I immediately thought I know where there is a station like that one.

Looks like the 1947 Ford truck dad had. Would haul 200 bushels of wheat and it was full. Darn flathead V8 ran hot, especially in Kansas for wheat harvest. Top speed about 45 but hardly ever drove over 40.

Gee, that is a nice find, love old trucks too. Like the old station, wouldn't it be neat to have it on your land
