Wild Turkeys

Got any wild turkey deterrents? They hang around our church parking lot and people don't notice what they are stepping in and it tracks in.

I'm sure the NH wardens would be glad to include you in one of their episodes of North Woods Law.
Shooting game bird out of season, not having proper endorsements for turkey, shooting within 300ft of buildings and road. Sounds like a poor remedy to me, but perhaps Showcrop could contact them and have them remedy the problem. They have done that with nets that are launched over a small flock and then they relocate them.

LOL well according to the wife's grandma (who had kids to feed in the Great Depression) a paw clutch trap and some feed corn will solve that problem......according to Bessie you didn't even have to cut their heads off..... :D . Quite and old girl before she passed at 102.

Can the minister or church council ask for volunteers to clean the sidewalks before services?

Have a wild turkey barbeque event a few times during the week before Sunday. They will move somewhere else
to poop.

come get these

The young guy I let bow hunt on my
property saw 20 of them a couple weeks ago.
We never had them growing up.
Nor otters and coyotes either.

That could work, but someone will need to train the dog. Land-O-lakes tried to use a dog to control the geese at their corporate campus. Too many people played with the dog and it just became another pest.

I would think you would want to put the dog away when people were there, mine tries to herd the cars, is a pest that way.

(quoted from post at 08:44:53 10/27/18) Get a welcome mat that cleans your shoes.

Dr. we have a SERIES of mats for a total of 16 feet at each door for people to wipe their shoes on.
