Contractors are changing leaky gaskets on this 2000 HP Cooper engine, I will be working on the fuel valve controls once they are done.

Aww it looks like a big lawn tractor engine. Trouble is the parts weigh more than a full size tractor. Not quite a correct comparison but that thing you need a chain hoist to change a sparkplug.

Working on bug stuff like that can really get into your blood.

It is probably a V250, 18" bore and 20" stroke power assemblies in a V configuration on the top of the frame. There are compressor cylinders run from an combination master rod out the side of the frame. The compressors are typically used to compressor natural gas, but they can be used for almost any gas.

The pipe line that comes thru this area has 2 cooper bessemer and 3 nordburgs.

the coopers are V-12 4000 hp and the nordburgs are V-16 3800 hp . If I rember

the coopers have 3 compressor cyl on each side , the nordburgs are centrifugal

units with a 10:1 speed increaser . It used to be Trans co , now is williams energy.
