And this is tractor related because I could post pictures of them if I had the "app" for instagram. I think it is designed for posting
primarily from cell phones. My phone is not for that but I wonder if it could work from a laptop computer?

(quoted from post at 20:39:01 10/09/18) Not related to this but I was thinking about you today wondering if you have been able to combine ?
Pretty much zero progress on harvest. I did finish off a field a week ago last Saturday but the grain was tough or damp. Only did it to finish up the standing crop so I could move the combine home and change headers. A hopper of 20% wheat and a truck load of 15% oats. Hopefully cold enough it will store for a while without spoiling. The canola swath I tried was over 15% which is 5 points above safe storage levels. Grain driers are running everywhere here and they say propane is getting so in demand that trucks are waiting in line to fill. Not good at all. Did I post my last harvesting video of Sept 29?

(quoted from post at 21:17:32 10/10/18) That?s rough is the weather supposed to shape
again for awhile ?
Seems they have been forecasting an improvement for a month now but it never happens. Down in the teens last night so the ice did not even melt today. Could be more precip on Friday. Rain or snow? But next week warming up. We shall see.

Been Raining here for a week straight supposed to
clear out and warm up again next week as well . We
haven?t had rain since May so I?m not complaining. I
hope it straightenes up so you can get the crop in .
Have you ever had to Pick it up the next spring ?

More than a few times but it has usually been flax which winters fairly well. Canola will be a major loss if it lays out in the swath all winter. But it will also heat and spoil in the bin if we combine it before it is properly dry. And I don't have a dryer.

We combined some barley in the snow one winter it
was about 22 percent when it went in the bin no
dryer we put a bunch of dry 2x10 in with the grain
when we binned it came out the next spring with no
mold
