Hesston 60-66 tractors

Any information available on a Hesston 60-66 tractor? ie cold weather starts, fuel economy reliability common problems

They are pretty good tractors in
general start well in cold weather,and
easy on fuel. Most parts like seals
etc. Are available through case new
Holland. Like any other brand it
depends on how they were used
previously.

Have they ever been used as a light duty loader tractor?

Mine has the ether injection system because it came from cold
weather country, never had a problem with it starting and it is
easy on fuel. It could handle a loader but no shuttle means it
will be slow working.

The tractor has a steering actuator problem is there an issue with this? Is replacing the cylinder the solution?

On those Fiat tractors the steering motor is probably the problem.
