Didn't realize Canada had an official Thanksgiving Day. Guess I learned something today after all.
From what I read, it has been on the 2nd Monday in October since 1957.
For our Canadian neighbors, here's wishing ya'll a most pleasant Thanksgiving Day!!

Happy Thanksgiving BD and fellow Canadians.
On the Columbus Day comment, I just finished the 1/65 scale Artesania Latina model kits of the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria in wood. Can't believe Queen Isabella was good enough to let go of these three old ships to allow Columbus several trips to the New World and in the process hopefully bring treasures back to her. I can't believe 60-100 crew and passengers survived a couple of months at sea on each voyage to get to the New World...had to be desperate. Mayflower is in work.
