Where is the SN located on a Ford 3000 ?

Looked it over several times, have not found it...!!

Will it be stamped into a casting and where..???

Tractordata.com has serial number location photos for many tractors.

Normally,it will be on the bellhousing, just above and to the rear of the starter, along with the model and unit numbers. Sometimes, on Antwerp and Basildon built models, some of those numbers ended up on the opposite side. I don't think I've seen teh serial number opposite the starter, but I've only seen a few A and B prefix Fords up close.

In theory there is a label under the RH hood panel, if not then as below. If there is a loader on the machine it is sometime hard to see, a wire brush, light, and maybe a mirror.
