Ok so I have a picture of the parts I have. It is a surge milker bucket with lid and the 4 stainless parts for the udders. From what I have read here I may not need a pulsator to have it looking correct. My goal is not to be operational but to look right for my wife. Im trying to make this a surprise for her. I saw a site posted here by one of the members that I think I could get the inflations and vacuum hoses but what I think I'm missing is what the vacuum hoses would attach to. Sorry to sound needy but I'm ignorant to these things.

Phones sure are fun lol

It?ll shine up really nice either way,the pulsator is about the size of a small fist and has a stainless steel flip open cover. The vacuum line plugs into the back of it.

Vacuum hoses attach to "pulsator".Pulsator "twist locks" to the post sticking up from the lid.

Makes me feel almost sentimental looking at these old milkers, but no enough to go back to using them. I used three milkers, and pulling them apart , and washing them twice a day, added another hour on to a days chores. Though it beat the heck out of hand milking.

I will look tomorrow and see if I have any of the bucket mounted pulsators left. That is the piece your missing to hook the inflations to. With a pulsator and four inflations you can hook it all up to were it would be look original.

The fellas have said what you need is pulsator. You have the lid, shells for inflations, now you need inflations, small air tubes and lid gasket. If you need a pulsator I should have both types. Give me a jingle at 603-341-6066 leave message.Scott

Ok thank you very much for the help I think she will be impressed with it. I have her mother on the lookout for a picture of her grandfather or possibly my wife and grandfather in the barn. Should be a good gift.

All of these pictures remind me of why I went in the Air Force and stayed 28 tears
Luckily I had a younger brother who really liked cows!!!!.............................gtm

Same here, but I went off to college and never went back. I remember fighting those pulsators for years...seems like ours were always sticking. Dad would put a kit in one, then another would act up. Age 10-18 were not my favorite years
