Last few times I used it I start it and it quits after about a minute. Just sitting there idling. Starts right back up and won't do it again. Go to use it in about a week and it does the same thing. Always after about a minute of idling. Real consistent.

sounds like the fuel filter is back draining, is it tight? does it miss on a pull like its sucking air?

You most likely have a pin hole fuel leak somewhere.
My work truck was doing that every Monday morning after sitting over the weekend.
Every other day it was fine.
Took several times to the shop before they could find the problem.

Mine turned out to be a fuel line that was not seating properly.
As it sat over the weekend it was sucking air threw the bad fitting allowing the fuel to back drain.
The leak was so small that over night it would not back drain enough for me to notice or show a visible fuel leak while running.

It should have those hard plastic fuel lines with a quick release squeeze to release pita's. Replace the feed one with regular fuel line and it should fix the problem, don't worry about the return(smaller one). Also make sure the solenoid in front of the fuel filter is on tight, once in awhile the nut works off(thin tin nut). Two wire pigtail blue and red if I remember right.
