That is crazy to think about snow already to someone like me from Middle Tennessee. In the past few years we have done good to see that much snow all together in one winter let alone at one time. If we do see snow its not until January or February. Thanks for posting. I like the 1200!

Radar was showing a little bit of snow/mix heading towards us in the early morning, but I didn't wait around for the event. We've had snow in August before. Late September doesn't impress me much.

Still, not quite ready for them frozen raindrops to fall yet.

And I thought NY was bad - I know I'm not ready for it yet. Back in the 80's we did get a rare heavy snowfall in early October. The leaves were still on the trees, so it was a huge mess. Parts of the Hudson valley were without power for a month.

These are far from uncommon here,, it warms back up most of the time in a few days if not the next,, these were taken 9-11-14 here we got 18" then total over three days I think it was broke a lot of trees and took out a fair amount of power lines also,,

Back in late 60's or early 70's Indianapolis had snow Labor Day weekend. I went to the NHRA Nationals and they had to wait for temperature to come up before any runs that day.

Glad I dont have to worry about that for a few months, but than again I dont have antelope here either!

A lot of snow, guess its 32 here tonight, no snow thou, might be a chance this weekend

I have a Bumper crop of those this year again, this Buck was keeping his herd tight while I was working in this field, then a couple from a new herd of bucks that moved in a couple weeks ago

They eat some for sure,, main loss I see is alfalfa seed,, they eat 3000-30,000 a year worth of that in my fields but I was told by the game and fish that this is not a alfalfa seed country so that explains that lol,, they pay a multi millionaire just east of me so much a head for deer per head if he has too many on his fields I reminded them of that and they told me I did not have the money he does to fight about it,, they are right on that point, the geese in the spring eat the snot out of my hay barley when it is first growing,, in a dry year they will eat it until it no longer grows back,, they get 5-10 acres a year that way that I can see, in that I see more damage form them than the speed goats, but I do have to bunch my round bales quickly and get the small squares picked up within a day or so or they will have them torn to bit as the bucks like to fight with them
