Resteration Shop

Zafrus ...... obviously, you have escaped the wrath of the SPTU (Spelling Police Tactical Unit) so far .....
ha! No help with the restoration contact but if you've been reading all the stuff lately on old tractor
prices and values, etc, you'll know that vintage iron prices have dropped considerably over the last while.
That being said (another one of those catch phrases that we all overuse nowadays), you might be advised to
be careful about spending a lot of your hard-earned dollars on a tractor that might be worth 1/4 of what you
pump into it (or even less). Restoration costs haven't dropped unfortunately. You might consider giving it
a try yourself, lots of help here on YT as you move along with your project.

AMEN, Crazy Horse!

Unless a tractor (or a vehicle, for that matter) has big-time sentimental value a "restoration" will cost WAY more than can ever be recouped when interest (or the owner) dies and it goes on the open market.

What is wrong with just owning a restored tractor? Why does every thing have to have a resale value? Any one who buys a $45000 truck
will never recapture their investment.

I agree. To each their own I have restored three tractors myself and about to start on another one. I enjoy the time in the shop working on them and the time at the shows showing off my hard work. A lot of worse things I could spend my money on and a lot worse places I could spend my time. Just my opinion
