white Field Boss 31

I have a White FB31 that is need of pto clutch work. The pto will grind when trying to shift into gear. It also always runs when in gear. I assume the clutch pack has failed for the PTO but there are no parts available from Agco. Any idea's where a person could find parts? Or does any one rebuilt clutch disc's?

The FB-31 and the Bolens G272 (2wd) and G274(4wd) are pretty much the same machine with different paint, we sold both. Try Sam's Bolens 219-661-1405, or West Kentucky Tractor Parts 800-564-0567 who specialize in compact tractor salvage. You could also try Welters in Verona MO. as they deal with Oliver/Moline/White both new and salvage, 417-498-6496. Iseki is still in business in Japan, so you may be able to source parts from there. The way Japanese law is written, they obsolete their equipment much faster than here. Good Luck.

Were they a 2 stage clutch like a Fiat? If so an adjustment may help it.

No, single stage and a multi plate clutch pack for the PTO.
