End of the rainbow

I always wondered where the end of the rainbow was. Finally I can see it. Turns out it is about 300 ft. south of my neighbors shed.

Always thought it was so cool how the outer one is reverse order. Did you ever see a triple? Sun needs to be right on the horizon and that third one will only be a tiny bit at the bottom, maybe just a few degrees. Oh the third one goes back to the correct order.
 
You should have stepped around a little,the eves are in the way of seeing the leprechaun with the pot of gold. lol
 
We saw a rainbow one time that we counted 4 -- wife was certain she could make out the 5th, but I could only see 1 color of the 5th rainbow. ...Can't remember, but don't think we got a pic of it. I'll have to look some time and see.

It happened near intersection of Hwy 2 and....Hwy 59? - whatever road it is going from Thief River Falls down to Detroit Lakes.

"If" we got a pic, it was an older camera, so the quality likely wasn't that great.
 
Yes that's Hwy 59 town of Erskine. Just north of that is Brook's Mn, and east of that is Oklee my home town.
 
My buddy has land by Trail MN where we deer hunt, we go to Oklee for breakfast in the summer when we are there.
 
I saw both ends of one onetime while I was driving. Interesting because it moved with me. Bet the poor leprechaun had to work his backside off trying to move the pot of gold 60 mph through a field.

That sure paints a funny picture! :lol:
 
Here's the picture a photographer from the local newspaper took of our place with rainbow- there is actually a double if the picture is not cropped. I usually use it to prove to the neighbor that the pot of gold is clearly on his side of the line, not mine!
