Chrysler Industrial Fuel pump help

I have a tractor with a 265 ci flat head six Chrysler Industrial engine. I need a mechanical fuel pump for it or a replacement diaphram. The engine originally came out of a Massy Harris Combine and would guess the year to be around late 50's or early 60's. Serial number on the engine is 9606C and the number on the fuel pump is 4550. I see no indication of the manufacturer.

If I can't find the mechanical pump would another option be to install an electric pump? Tractor in 12 volt. I have not been able to find anything locally. Any help you guys can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks for getting back to me. My pump is entirely different. It has a sediment bowl on bottom, the arm that drives the pump sticks straight out from the pump and the mounting holes are offset.

I appreciate you trying to help.

You need a CARTER #M847.

There's some pricey NOS units on GOOGLE, perhaps a "real" autoparts store can cross that number to the brand they sell.

After a little more research, it looks like an AIRTEX #73201 will work, as well. If that's true, even Amazon and Rock Auto have those.

Go modern electric. You pump prolly died due to Ethanol laced fuel. The new one won't last either. Wire it to the ign line with a 10 amp relay from the batt, and a 8 amp inline fuse.

Before I went electric I would try gravity feed first.
And if I knew how old the original pump lasted, as in 20+ years, I would install another Carter brand fuel pump to replace the old one.
