i don't know.... i think you could have gotten 2x more stuff on there if you'd stacked higher.... ha ha.

Fred ...... you'd be a good guy to ask this question. Does a guy have to be careful when buying a skid steer at auction? Maybe no more than with any piece of equipment and the buyers probably know what to watch for and what they are getting themselves into. Just something I heard more than once in my travels, ie the fact that a lot of them have really been worked hard and maybe not serviced as much or as often as they should. One thing for sure though, better to buy something in its work clothes than something wearing a fresh coat of paint and new decals.

That is why the railroads went to those double stack cars. Was lots of fun because every bridge and tunnel had to be raised or dug out. Man that trailer is loaded! As a kid one of the local dealers sold Fox field equipment. Looked like that chopper on the trailer. Tough equipment.

Hi Fred, saw Michael Hansard 2 weeks ago and we were talking about when he used to come to the auctions. He is coming over to the USA this month with his colluge John Bowen Jones as he has still got his house in Charlotte NC. He also said that John wanted to go to Pensilvania as he has friends there so I told him to go to Newark Valley and give you a call. MJ

Yes it would be good to see Mike again. Love to get over to your country sometime. The skid steers unloaded very easily just forked them off and yes they are a rough bunch. Skid steers are tricky to buy at auction if we buy the higher end ones we check them pretty good usually if you see oil underthem plan on some work.

We have a big sale barn here in N. Tx. You see those types of trucks and after a sale loading up with sale goodies......signs on the side of the trucks indicate they are going back home, South across the border. Competition makes for hight prices. UGH!
