Sliced cucumber, dipped in egg wash, rolled in cracker crumbs, fried in butter, seasoned with garlic salt and black pepper. I'm off to dinner table. Be back in an hour. Yum, yum.
(p.s.) don't tell my doctor.

Its a cucumber. Its health food. How could the Doc argue with that?
By the way, it sounds dreadful. But I've never liked cucumbers.

My Dad use to fry white squash that way except he used cornmeal. We'd eat it like a steak.

I've had fried dill pickles so I guess a regular cucumber would work too.

I?ve had many zucchini fixed like that back in the day.

I never had considered how mom made the ?egg wash? kinda glad I didn?t question it back then!
