What has happened over the last year or so? I posted this topic up yesterday and haven't gotten any replies yet, and furthermore there haven't been but just a few posts on the forum of other topics since then. I remember 2-3 years ago when my thread would have been buried to the next page the 2nd day.

Anyways......if any of you could help I would greatly appreciate it. I know this particular section of the forum is one of the most traffiked,

I'm just guessing here..... maybe
folks are making hay while the sun
shines? Busy time of year for
folks who work outside............

Remember, nobody on here that I know of does this for a living. They are helping if they can out of the goodness of their heart. And they
are doing it in their spare time.

Not familiar with your problem, but if it was me, I'd remove the bolt, and if oil was not just pouring out then, put a little RTV or
Permatex #2 on the bolt and screw it back in tight.

Thank you. Yeah I agree and understand what you mean but I just know the traffic and typical posters has seemed way down here lately.

I saw your post yesterday but did not answer since I do not know that tractor as such. But I have found that a lot of bolt holes go all the way threw the casings so if there is oil on the inside the bolt can leak a little bit. One way to stop that is clean the treads real good with carb cleaner spray or brake cleaner spray put a little silicone gasket maker on the bolt and put it in. Nice thing with the silicone is it stops the oil leak but does not make it real hard to remove the bolt in the future.

By the way yes it seem like this site does not have as many people posting on it as it once did

Thanks old. I will do that. Yeah I just have never ran into this on these tractors before . I'm sure the 2.5-3 gallons of oil I removed from the transmission didn't help either. Haha
