Hey guys I'm not a person that takes personal offense and understand in a good debate people let their heart felt feelings out.I know I push folks sometimes but there are some issues that really I believe people need to think through and I do want to hear other's real opinions whether I agree or not gives me a better insight.No harm no foul.

It was a good topic,,its great to hear both sides or something in between,,this is real on here and I for one enjoy reading all the viewpoints.Its a great site and very informative for sure.Thank you everyone for giving your opinions,it was interesting for sure,and farm /tractor related too!

I enjoy Traditional's sharp statements and usually find them enlightening to both sides of an issue.

On your comment about the news, ALL news is really entertainment now, and cater to the people that watch it. I watch several politically varying outlets so I can make up my own mind about what is going on. If we tend to watch channels that lean towards our particular viewpoint, you are really just reinforcing our individual ignorance about a subject and not learning the real news.

I also enjoy reading both extreme sides.
It gives me a preceptive I would not have otherwise.

The problem with being one sided to a extreme is it leaves little area to compromise and come down in the middle where most of us are at.

I like your posts!

Most of what I know of Venezuela is about the Oil and Gas industry. They have the largest proven oil reserves of any country on Earth. More than Saudi Arabia... They are extremely wealthy in that respect.

Your previous post encouraged me to do some research about Ag in Venezeula. They have a program of land redistribution, where idle land is seized and redistributed to poor farmers in order to encourage small-scale farming. Sounds like an interesting idea, but apparently it isn't that successful a program.

They also have brought in advisors from Asia to help them design rice fields, and other tropical crop production systems.

Thanks for the topic! I really enjoy researching new things...

That is one thing I have garnered from Traditional Farmer, He and I are about as far apart as any two guys on here. I probably used more Round Up last year than some folks will in their life, I drive a new pickup ever other year, farm with newer stuff and hate goats, but at the end of the day (after arguing over KUBOTAS) he and I have agreed several times given the opportunity we could set down and enjoy a cup of coffee together. Can not fault the guy for being passionate about his beliefs. Me all I am trying to do is feed the world... LOL
