Hi all,
Thanks for all your suggestions! I'm going to pull the engine out and put it on a bench and see what I can find! I do have a parts fergy that I might be able to salvage a crankshaft out of.
I bought this tractor one week ago, the guy said that it was knocking - only when it had warmed up, but thought it was the clutch. I drove it out of the shed this morning - drove it for maybe five minutes, and no knocking. Only when it warms up.
Do any of you have any knowledge of the hydraulic system of th David Brown 850 implematic? I'm looking at fixing it myself as the local tractor mechanic didnt want to do it.
