Hi all,
My Ferguson TEA has developed a knocking near the flywheel. When I rev up it knocks louder, and when I throttle down, it screeches. I believe that the main bearings have gone, so I need to replace them. Do I need to pull the engine out and put it on a bench, or can I simply pull the sump cover off and do the the bearings from underneath? Or is the time saved underneath better used pulling the engine off?
I have attached a video of it - hopefully it works!
Thanks!
Joshua
