I have an older friend that owns a 485 -D 1 Mahindra. A power steering line on it has developed a leak and needs replaced. His stepson is fairly good at mechanic work but has little experience on tractors. I haven't looked at it myself but they said one end has what appears to be a set screw holding it in place. I think it is the end that goes into the power steering box. The manual they have says 'remove and replace' . It gives no other information. Do you simply back off the setscrew and slide the line out or is there more to it ? I am working in hay and it would be a few days before I can go look at . I told my friend someone [probably more than one] in the brain trust here would be able to explain how to do it. Thanks for any help. Lee
