Here?s my satellite radio setup i can move it to any machine with a radio . The receiver plugs into a dock and then I can also put it in my truck

Why would anyone want to listen to distant satellite radio rather than local FM country station.
I want frequent weather updates, local news, be able to call in and win tickets to local events, fairs etc., and some big events such as free tickets to a Blake Shelton Concert, or tickets to a concert with Derks Bently and friends at a close by venue, won by locals this week, by just being the correct caller.
I think it is time to support your local eco system/economy, not some entity in outer space.

Looks good to me ! I am fed up with local new country stations, and many others for that matter. The weather reports are only good for the city they came out of, and the news is fake bs , lol. Tired of sports reports and constant and relentless commercials for fast food and new cars.
Give me Willie?s Roadhouse, or 50?s on 5 or 60?s on 6. Then again quiet time with my own thoughts is good sometimes too.

There is no such thing as a decent fm radio within a hundred miles and rather listen to someone take a dump than anything dirks Bentley Blake shelton

I like Willies and prime country and spend a lot of time on radio classics 148. As far as fake news I hate It this isn?t libtard country I don?t want it crammed down my throat . And weather I have the weather band that actually has acurate weather

There isn?t a good fm station I?d rather listen to someone with food poising taking a dump than anything on fm or am

Had two episodes of dragnet on and then gunsmoke is on . Fibber McGee and Molly the burns and Allen show . Believe me nothing on am fm comes close . Oh forgot our miss brooks , the whistler , the fbi files , Boston blackie , x minus 1, and A bunch more

I will not pay to listen to a radio. Though I do understand where SV is at there is not much for radio stations period. Like most of the rural western out laying country. The hills will also affect how well line of site stations reception.
SV is the truck stop in Montpelier still open any more? It used to be called the Ranchhand truckstop.

Yes it is . Great burger 🍔 joint . Like I say there are to classic radio stations but they are 100 miles in either direction and they won?t come in there is no local radio station

That?s why I got Sirius because in a day they play the song at 6 am again at noon again at 5 and again at 6 when the night guy comes on and if running like I do in the summer again at 8 and again at midnight . And then you get to listen to two idiots talk about mindless bull sh;: and laugh at there own stupid jokes for 2 hours in the morning while they play 2 songs that to quote my grandpa sounds like somebody dragging a cat a** backwards across a tin roof.
