I have a 1990 vintage 4000 watt Coleman generator powered by an 8 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. It was designed as a "work" (tools, lights, etc.) generator, not computers, flat screen TV's, etc.
Word on the street around here is there is Coleman dropped parts and service support for the generator end. Can anybody comment on this? It seems to be a pretty simple generator, I just bought it foe emergency lighting, etc. in event of a power outage.
I don't currently have any problems, just invertigating in case I need parts support.
Thanks,
Bill.
