Wheel Drive to Trac Drive

That's what I'm thinking, looks like it would build a lot of heat at high speed.

What about mud with rocks, sticks?

Sand?

Ice? As in parked in a puddle?

I saw that a couple weeks back. Was initially blown away at how awesome an idea, then started looking at it more practically. I doubt it'd hold up to the rigors needed for commercial use, much less military.

In my 'useless' opinion, it'd be like having a set of MatTracks (made, by the way, right here in Karlstad, MN!!) as they work great in off-road or bad-road conditions, but won't go very fast on good road. So if there's a lot of icing, I could see this being beneficial on emergency vehicles - switch to wheels for non-icy areas for greater speed.

Still, sure makes for a great video!!
