Last spring I posted a photo of the for sale sign, someone commented it looked too wet to be productive. Most of this land it tiled, so they are able to get crops planted early, which is important in N MN. This field is most of a section, with possibly another 1/2 section behind it so 600-800 acres, it is 10 miles S of Baudette MN. Looks like it going to be a good crop, sure would be a bright patch from an airplane! The picture with the for sale sign was taken last week, the other one yesterday, they are changing fast.

Looks Good,, I raised a trial patch of them for a oil seed trial one year,, they were a sight to see for sure 8-10' high and 8-10" heads the birds ate every single seed in less than a week when they got to a certain point,, I planted just over 4 acre of them lol the Safflower I planted did Amazing and nothing messed with it more than once,, it is Full of Razor sharp parts

I just looked at the listing, 3,972 total acres, 2600 tillable, $5,185.000, some woods and wetland.

You'd have to plant pot and poppies on that farm in order to pay for it.

The sign says Kasson real estate agent. How would they be involved with land as far north as Baudette. Kasson is southeast of the Twin Cities.

You ain't kiddin'!

We defrosted the freezer today and I took a run to the river to dump the old food. Had some stuff from 2016! :shock: Anyway, river was way low! Lots of algae, even some of the Willows were turning brown - Willows that sit next to the water.

We -- need -- rain!

I't not a township just about 5 sections. A township is usually here about 6x6 miles square.
